Conflicts within the working groups and teams

The author aims at the topic of working groups and teams. He focused concretely on the conflicts that can arise within them. The first part of paper is devoted to the explanation of basic concepts, on which is based this work. The author introduce step by step with the issue of conflicts and their basic typology, defining the working group compared to the team and the role of both in human life, as well as communication and interpersonal interactions as integral parts of two previous concepts. In the core of the work are mentioned the basic causes of conflict in the labour collectives in the form of group composition, relationships, and interactions, methods of management or leadership, and also personal settings. At the conclusion of this crucial part of paper are discussed and presented modern phenomena of bullying in the workplace called mobbing and bossing. The last part of theory is devoted to the consequences and implications that these conflicts can cause not only for humans but for the whole group, hence the organization. The whole work is finished by a list of possible methods to investigate this issue and also the specific research proposals.

The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate the relationships in the workplace and the prerequisi-tes of workers for team work in the selected company and suggest possible recommendations and changes. The main benefit of this work is the use of sociometry, which helped in the evaluation of relationships in the workplace and the level of teamwork.
Organization Development Intervention Options: a selected organization example

This bachelor thesis is aimed at the analysis of the concrete construction company, especially by an interpretation of gathered data, which were reached from members of chosen working group in the organization and then it is aimed at the possibility of the application of interventions using in the company. The concrete working group is mainly composed of members of administrative organization part. The objective of the work is based on the diagnosis of an internal and an external background of the company and on the consequential giving the feedback to the client about an implementing the interventions. This diagnosis is made with help of special methods and techniques: interviews, SWOT analysis, association training and sociometric test. The final recommendation is mainly oriented in planning concrete interventions in the company and it is also partially based on the whole potential consultant's implementing process step by step. For this possible realizing of the consultant's process the work tries to illustrate global time plan and then it also warns, that there could be certain difficulties, which could appear in the phase of the implementation. The isolation of an individual and a working group within an organisation

This thesis deals with isolation of individuals and workgroups within an organization. Isolation of the individual is here seen to be associated with its ability to adapt to working environment. Also pay attention to factors that can contribute significantly to the isolation of the individual and those are conflicts within the working group and poor workplace relations. The next section describes the essence of formation of isolation of a working group, which may be based on processes that are reasonably necessary for the functioning of the group, in its extreme extent, may have a negative effect on the group. Isolation should be seen as an impulse for change, which is closely related to the ability of learning. For this reason, the work also included the issue of organizational change, education of individuals and the use of creative techniques. These procedures can also serve as a prevention of isolation. I included my practical knowledge in this area in a case study that describes the situation in the working group, which is already in isolation and in connection with the phenomena that occur in this group, some members feel isolated. Sociopreferential relationships in a working group and the use of their knowledge in the management of organization

The bachelor thesis is focused on working groups, their structure and importance for organizations. The theoretical part is dedicated to organization, primarily its varied approaches and structure, working groups and teams and sociometry with focus on a sociometric test, which is the base of the practical part. In the practical part is realized a research in form of the sociometric test in the chosen working group. The aim is get knowledge of the informal structure of the group. Based on the data from the research is established a comprehensive view on acting of the group members and a functionality of the group as an entirety. Thanks to the gained results are suggested sociotechnical recommendations for improvements of the relationships in the group individually for each member and for the whole group.

(in English) Bachelor thesis writes about conflict as a normal and natural part of a workplace. It discusses the conflicts in the workplace and in a human life as a helpful factor of changes, but also a source of dissatisfactions, depressions, despair in case of being unsolved. Thesis describes conflict division styles, conflict resolution styles and personal assumptions of conflict perception. In the work teams part I am writing about differences between work team and work group, then I am describing division of teams and I am presenting several developmental theories. Thesis also follows up socio- psychlogical aspects of team membership and team work. It focuses also on team relations mapping. Other element of thesis is a description of symmetrical and asymmetrical communication. Identification of relationship between communication style and conflict presence is a subject of experiment proposal.
The Problem of inadequate social adaptation of the individual in the working group

This bachelor's thesis deals with social adaptation that takes place in the process during which there is integration of new employees joining the organization. Attention is paid to the concept of adaptation in the context of coping with socialization and stress. It is defined adaptation of workers and its area - working adaptation and social adaptation. Particular attention is paid to the social adaptation to the working group, the process is elaborated in individual stages. Possible causes that led to the lack of social adaptation are initially processed from a theoretical point of view and consequently the process of social adaptation to the working group analyzed the empirical investigation.
